I watched SPA's dance performance today with Stephen... It's called, FUSE... What a nice and meaningful name.. Watching all the dances fused together. Like the nuclear fussion in physics... hahahaha. (i know it's not funny). Tori was in the dance as well and basically, i think the show was a huge success!!
Nothing much happened lately... It's just that I've got re-involved in Taiko (a japamese drum) again after taking a long break... Laura asked me if I would like to perform on May 17th... My jaw dropped and my mouth was opened so wide that my fis can be fitted into it.. (YUCKS!) haha... that's an expression to show how schoked i was... But guess i have no choice because they really want me to do it and they said "it's almost once in a lifetime thing, sandy... go for it!" and seriously, i think i shouldn't waste this great opportunity to screw up the performance... hahahahaha...... (Stephen, don't read my blog...) so, i'm practicing really hard... jgn memalukan nama negara wei.... XD I'll have four more practice sessions in the church before my performance... only FOUR!!!
Grrrrrrhhh, i'll be having CRT test next week and I'm not a huge fan of tests... i wonder how it'll go.. I DON'T WANT TO FAIL!!!!!!
Sighs... Just another 59 days... before i'm going to leave Salt Lake.. 3 more days in D.C. and back to Malaysia... Man, 6 months is like 6 days to me... it's too short... i really hoped that there's 48 hours a day or 96 hours... hahaha... i think i might cry when i'm at the airport...
"Cos I want you and I feel you crawling underneath my skin. Like a hunger, like a burning to find a place I've been. Now I'm broken and I'm faded, I'm half a man I thought I would be... But you can have... what's left of me...."

Long time no BLOG!!!!
wahsei, it's been so long ever since i've blogged... i nearly forgotten the existence of my blog... (hehehe). Basically, there's a lot happening in my life.... Especially schooling in SLSPA (Salt Lake fot the Performing Arts).... u can never imagine how chemistry can mix with perfroming arts... at first, i thought it would be a bad combination... however, i've found some good stuffs in SPA and dome "hidden" talent in me... (hahahaha, perasannya aku nie). Love my voice and theatre classes!!! Natalie and Jared are the "awesomest" and the coolest teachers i've ever met! Because of SPA, i noticed that how much more stuffs that i have yet to experience and all this while i always thought that i'm knowledgeable as if i'm the miss-know-it-all.. sighs, i'm so ashamed of myself....
i went to California, two weeks ago with my friend's host family... she drove me there and it took almost 10 hours to reach Sacramento, which is the capital of California... we stayed there for 3 days and then we headed to San Francisco and spent two nights in Kak Tijah's house! (isn't this is amazing?? to have singaporean and malaysian aiding us throughout the trip). i had really good sambal and nasi goreng (fried rice)- dude, i gotta cut down my carb intake! or else, i'll hv my size doubled by the time i'm going back to Malaysia.... Kak Tijah took us to the Golden Gate Bridge on the second day of our stay at her place... and we also went to the fisherman's wharf.. took a ride on cable car or trolley what they call it... (cos it's like a carriage being pulled and makes funny noises like trolley being pulled on rough cement tiles...)
the best part of my vacation is definitely about "the Universal Studios" in Hollywood!!! i was there for two days and rode on all the rides available! one of the coolest rides they have is the Mummy ride! it's awesome, and i strongly reccommend this to anyone who'll pay a visit to Universal Studios!!! the Simpsons ride is not bad too.. i was put into a room with some cool holographic scenes shot in front of me. but it felt like i was in a roller coaster!!! this feeling is so hard to be described! you gotta see it to feel it and to believe it!
It's now spring, finally. but the weather here is pretty temperate. it changes from time to time (you're hot and you're cold, you're yes and you're no...) it was sunny the other day and all of the sudden, it snowed! dude! what's wrong with Salt Lake, man! (hahaha) anyway, i'm currently preparing for a spring showcase coming up on May 20th and 21st!!! I'll get to perform!!!! this is so unbelievable!!! but i'm certain of one thing, i'm really enjoying my exchange program in here!!!!

Salt Lake City, Utah
well, finally got a blog! today is my 14th day in the United States and the 11th day in Salt Lake City. everything's going smoothly, so far... and my host family and i celebrated CNY here! cool, guess wat? i actually cooked for them and i can't believe it- they said it was really good.. XD i really appreciate their effort to invite my frens to our house and hosted this CNY dinner! love u guys!
school's different. esp when u r in some school that u've never been before (what am i crappin) well basically, i'm studyin in Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts and guess wat?! i have to take 3 performing arts classes!! it was tough because i can't dance (don't ever imagine that!) nr play a musical instrument. but thank God, the school offers Voice and Theatre classes which really captured my interest in them. since everythin seems new here, i did have some difficulties to get adapted to this new environment. but now i feel much more comfortable and i'm really grateful and blessed to have this great host family!
i'm hoping that i'll be able to make more new friends and also, not failing my exams!
